Purpose of these questions:

•Think about how children’s behaviors are part of healthy sexual development

•Reducing the stigma about ‘sexual’ behaviors in children

Questions:

1. What are play behaviors you, your siblings, or your friends / peers engaged in as children that you now realize was sexual exploration or curiosity and was part of sexual development? (i.e. practicing kissing on dolls, playing “doctor”, sneaking to see nude images, etc)

2. How did adults respond to those behaviors? How did you feel about the behaviors at the time? Do you feel differently now?

3. What messages did you get as a child about sexuality and relationships?
