Intro to Social-Sexual Supports

This training provides you with an overview of social-sexual supports. Learn tools to help your clients keep social and sexual behaviors safe, legal, and situationally appropriate. Discover the importance of relationships and sexuality as essential to a person’s identity, meeting their basic needs, their perception of their quality of life, and their overall health and well-being.
Learning Objectives:
Understand our basic human needs for connection and sexual expression
Learn about dignity of risk and supported decision-making
Recognize the value of, and need for, proactive and preventative social-sexual support strategies and services
Explore how to address social-sexual issues/concerns or behaviors that need support

Available Formats:
Fast Track (1.5 hours) - between 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm PT
Half Day (3 hours) - between 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm PT
Full Day (6 hours) - 9am-4pm PT with an hour lunch
