Tier 2: ADVOCACY
This 3-month online cohort experience empowers participants to continue to strengthen their skills in supporting and advocating for self-determination regarding sexual health, development, and healthy relationships through mentorship, education, and skill-building activities.
With support of the facilitators, each participant of Tier 2 creates a personalized advocacy letter on behalf of a vulnerable individual, and designs a unique tool related to sexual health and development. Upon graduation, participants will have access to all the tools created by their cohort group, as well as all former and future cohorts! As of February 2025, we have a total of 62 tools created by T2 participants!
Tier 2 offers 18 CEUs for Oregon and Washington Foster Care and Long-Term care providers.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of T1: FOUNDATIONS.
Please Note: The time commitment for Tier 2 is:
2 hrs per week for the cohort calls, PLUS
approximately 1-2 hrs per week (depending on the complexity of your advocacy plan and tool)
